Frequently Asked Questions

We offer a versatile range of roll-off dumpster sizes to accommodate any project size in Jo Daviess, Grant, and Crawford Counties. Our inventory typically includes 15-yard, 20-yard, 30-yard and 40-yard containers. Whether you are a homeowner in Galena tackling a garage cleanout or a contractor in Platteville managing a large-scale construction site, we have the right equipment to handle your debris efficiently. If you’re unsure which size fits your needs, our team can provide a recommendation based on the type of material you’re disposing of.

Currently, our primary service in Illinois and Wisconsin is roll-off dumpster rentals for construction, demolition, and large residential cleanouts. While we do not currently provide weekly curbside trash or recycling pickup in these states, Kluesner Sanitation is always looking for opportunities to grow. We are open to expanding our residential and commercial routes if the right partnership or municipal contract arises. If you are a city official or business owner interested in our full-suite sanitation services, please reach out to our Farley office.

Our standard rental periods are 2 weeks and designed to give you plenty of time to complete your project. However, we understand that construction and home renovations can sometimes face unexpected delays. We offer flexible scheduling and can often extend your rental period with a simple phone call. Once your dumpster is full, just contact us, and we will schedule a prompt pickup to keep your job site clear and safe.

Yes, local ordinances in Illinois and Wisconsin can vary regarding where a dumpster can be placed. Generally, if the dumpster is placed on your private driveway or property, a permit is not required. However, if the container needs to be placed on a public street or right-of-way, you may need to obtain a temporary permit from your city hall. We recommend checking with your local building department, but our drivers are also experienced in navigating these local requirements to ensure a legal and safe delivery.

To remain compliant with both Illinois and Wisconsin environmental regulations, we cannot accept hazardous waste, liquid chemicals, asbestos, lead-acid batteries, or large amounts of electronics in our roll-offs. Additionally, items like tires and appliances usually require special handling and may incur additional fees. If you are disposing of “hard-to-handle” items, please let us know in advance so we can provide you with the most accurate quote and disposal instructions.
