FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What if my pickup date falls on a holiday?
If your pickup day falls on a major holiday, your pickup may be delayed. We’ll post any schedule changes on our Facebook page and website ahead of time.
How do I start trash service in Delhi?
Delhi residents sign up and are billed through the city. Contact Delhi City Hall to get started. Kluesner Sanitation handles your actual pickup once you’re enrolled.
What size cart do I get?
65-gallon totes, provided by Kluesner Sanitation.
Do I need to bag my trash before putting it in the cart?
Yes. All trash must be placed in garbage bags before going into your cart. This keeps loose debris from spilling during collection.
What if my trash or recycling gets missed?
Call our main office at 866-525-4506 during normal business hours. If the miss was our fault, we’ll be back to collect it. Missed pickups are collected on Thursday.
How can I reach Kluesner Sanitation?
Our office is open Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–4:30 PM and Friday 6:00 AM–3:00 PM. Call 866-525-4506 or send us an email at office@kluesnersanitation.com.
Where should I put my cart on pickup day?
Place your trash and recycling carts at the curb line by 6:00 AM on Wednesday. Please keep your carts at least 3 feet apart. Our trucks use an automated side-arm, so make sure there’s enough clearance on both sides of the cart.
Do you pick up appliances in Delhi?
Appliances are handled as bulk items. Call our office at 866-525-4506 to schedule your bulk item pickup.
